01 — What's in it

Four tools, not a book

Nobody needs another PDF they'll skim once. Each of these produces something by the time you put it down.

Tool one

The Field Request

Most people get disappointing answers because they ask disappointing questions. Five parts, one page — plus a worked example showing the same task asked badly and asked properly, side by side.

Ten minutes. It's the only part that's actually a lesson, and everything else depends on it.

Tool two

The Prompt Library

Twenty requests already written for the six places owners lose time — sales follow-up, hiring, operations, customer service, marketing, admin. The quote that needs explaining. The SOP nobody ever wrote down. The vendor email you've been meaning to send for a year.

Copy, fill in the brackets, run it. Each one tells you the single line you'll always need to fix afterward.

Tool three

Team AI Ground Rules

Your staff are already using these tools. The only question is whether they're doing it under rules you set or rules they guessed. What never goes in, what's fine, and what's always true — on one printable page.

Fifteen minutes, and it prevents the kind of problem that's expensive and embarrassing at once.

Tool four

The 30-Day Plan

Week one, use it for one job. Week two, template it. Week three, hand one to someone else. Week four, measure what it gave back. Fill-in worksheet with four dates for your calendar.

Including the honest bit about week three, when it stops working, and why.

Field Note

Your business knowledge is the advantage. AI is just another tool in the kit.

Okay, I Have ChatGPT… Now What?

03 — Where this fits

04 — Who's teaching

Built by an owner, for owners

Paul Nykamp

I'm Paul Nykamp. I've been a serial entrepreneur for more than 20 years, building businesses across just about every corner of the small-business world. Along the way, I've been a counselor and owned ice cream shops, a coffee shop, a technology company, plenty of brick-and-mortar retail stores, and a handful of other ventures. Every one of them created opportunities to grow, sharpen my instincts, and learn what really works.

I'm not a software company teaching you features. Everything in the Academy comes from strategies I've put to work in my own businesses, with my own money — tested in the real world, refined through experience, and focused on helping owners get meaningful results.

05 — Fair questions

Before you buy

Should I just take the free AI training instead?

Take it. Google gives every US small business a free AI certificate, and the US Chamber runs free in-person sessions through local chambers. They're good, and they'll teach you what the tools do. What they won't tell you is which three belong in your shop, what to stop doing to make room for them, or how to hand the result to a nineteen-year-old on a Saturday. That's what this is.

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can copy and paste, you can use every tool in the kit. There's no software to install and nothing to sign up for beyond a free ChatGPT account.

Is this just a list of prompts?

The Prompt Library is one of four tools, and it's the one you'll use most. But a list of prompts without the ground rules and the 30-day plan is how people end up with a folder of clever tricks and no change to their week. The kit is built to produce a habit, not a novelty.

My business isn't a coffee shop. Does this apply?

If you have a physical location or a truck, staff who clock in, and a schedule you're personally on — yes. The examples come from retail, food service and home services because that's where I've operated. Salons, gyms, contractors and shops all lose time in the same six places.

What if it isn't useful?

Email me and I'll refund you. It's $27 and I'd rather have your honest feedback than your twenty-seven dollars.
